Very hot, very fast. Great for a quick lunch. There are two booths, so get carryout or get comfy. $5.75 lunch specials can't be beat.

I was craving some Chinese and this place is relatively close to me. My girlfriend and I had to go into the facility to try and order because we couldn't find a menu anywhere. The lobby is pretty run down, and is extremely hot inside with no air conditioning available. It was also summer during this review so the temperature could vary depending on the season. We ordered A LOT of food and it was done in literally 5 minutes lol. So I'm pretty sure we got old food that was pre cooked. Either way it was delicious!! It's important to note that both of our stomachs couldn't handle their food though. It was two days of "the runs" starting with extreme gas 😂 tmi? Idk just beware !!

Great food for good prices. Friendly staff. Fast service. This is my go to Chinese take out.

Tonight was our first time ordering from China Chef. I am always very reluctant to try new places because I'm very picky about my food, but I am SO glad we gave the place a try. Everything from the Beef Cashew Ding and Sweet and Sour Chicken to the eggrolls (3 different kinds) was delicious, hot and fresh. Delivery was on time and the food was steaming hot. The staff was courteous from ordering to delivery. Thank you! We'll be back!

I wrote a review of this place years ago on Yahoo! right after they opened and I loved them! They were great for many years. However, their quality has been suffering lately. A few times that we have ordered, the order has been incorrect. The last time we ordered, I picked it up. The store was filthy, with grease and dust everywhere. I didn't think anything of it at first, but I later found a long string in my pan fried noodle side that I had ordered. I just threw everything away at that point and am very reluctant to go back.

No as good as it was before covid-19..Maybe they are out of practice. Alot less meat than before in their dishes.

I enjoy all the vegetables used in the meals. I especially love the steamed vegetables like bak choy, small corn, bean sprouts and snap peas.

Not real sure what’s up with this place but a couple weeks ago I got the Mongolian beef and was horrid, no flavor, not spicy at allTo bad cause I’ve been along time customer but it only takes one time for bad food

Best food ever. Lived in the boro for almost 20 years now, the place has been here since I can remember. Super friendly staff, very punctual with pickup time and delivery times. Food is absolutely great, can't think of a time when my order was ever messed up or incorrect. Didn't realized how much I like their food until I tried other places. Hands down best Chinese food ever :)

Ordered the hot and sour soup. It wasn't soupy at all, and had a tangy aftertaste, like it was reheated from the day before. Definitely was not fresh.

Our favorite Chinese place.We've been eating here for years. The food is good. The price is right. It's convenient. And even though it is a very small storefront, with only two or three fast food style booths inside, I'd even rather actually eat here if I had to (we always take it home) rather than eat at a quiet, relaxing, but rather pricey Chinese restaurant over in Hudson (that you'd expect to be awesome, but that has absolutely terrible food). There are a few Chinese restaurants in this immediate area, and I would choose China Chef first every time.

I reallly like their fried rice and Singapore noodles however this time I received a bunch of onions! I had moe onions than noodles.

Was visiting my son. He had told me they were closed due to some damage to the business, but when we came to visit this time it had reopened. I was so excited because we love their food.

Fast, good food, not over priced.

Ordered two combination orange chicken meals & a small shrimp & broccoli with a shrimp egg roll. Soon as I sit down to eat my food my daughter is screaming hysterically because there is a bug in her food. A live bug wiggling around in her food. Never again! I wouldn’t give 1 star if it was possible. What a waste of gas, money (yes they gave me a refund after I took the food back) & what an inconvenience.

Best Chinese food around! Once you have china chef you will never settle for any other Chinese restaurant again. Blows buffets out of the water. Their pieces of chicken are huge and the servings are more than what you pay for. Prices are great! Been eating here for years and highly recommend trying them.

Was traveling through town and noticed several positive reviews so I tried it out. Food is made fresh. It is a carry out or delivery type of place, there are only 2 booths in the restaurant. The food is made from scratch and serve the biggest egg rolls I have ever eaten!!

Delivery is awesome, menu and portions pretty standard. As for their actual good every time I've ordered you could see and taste that the rice or noodles were fried in a pan with old oil. It coats all there food, and I just find it really unappetizing

Maybe they have a new cook but my meal was way over cooked . loved them when I moved in a few years ago . I will still call them because they deliver!! But will make sure I tell them to not cook so long I don't like mushy food . even if the flavor is great .

Just the friendliest place for american chinese food. I love the people and the food is great. They also have fast delivery service. If you're new to this place I would suggest you order the governors chicken with an egg roll and one order of crab rangoons.

I have been eating at China chef for more years than I can remember...my favorite Chinese restaurant until recently. Since they reopened my order has been messed up several times and the quality has been horrible. I'm so disappointed to say I will not be going back again.

Ordered lot of food and it smelled very bad. I threw away all of the food. Something was not right.

Food quality has gone down the drain as well as customer service.They used to be good not anymore.

I order a family dinner to go and didn't get spoon/folk and no naking either. The meet tast bad because it start to smell. The sauce is good. This is my first time here and disappoint.
